Hi, I’m Paola Anna.

I am a wife, and a mom and I absolutely love good food. Being born and raised italian and food was my life. I spent most of my childhood learning to cook with my dad at his pizzeria. My early adult career consisted of being a clothing/cosmetics store manager by day and a self taught chef by night. My one regret in life was not taking over the family business given the opportunity. I think God had different plans for me since I had to adapt to a gluten free diet. Can you imagine? A gluten free girl owning an italian pizzeria!

In my late twenties, I became gluten free. Back then it was still a very new concept and good food was very hard to find. With much research and determination, I have been able to put together a wide range of food that my family can enjoy together. Now, many years later, I can honestly say that I love being gluten free and feeling great. Read more about my journey here.

When I am not cooking or just being a mom, I enjoy writing and photographing my boys. They are my world. Both of them have food allergies, and they have been an inspiration for me to make and find good food to eat.

I love to read cookbooks and feel inspired to make new meals and desserts. Creating the food me and my boys want to eat and enjoy has become my passion.

My hope is that this blog will make it easy for you to stay gluten free, have optimal health and have fun doing so. I hope to provide you with the tools, information and community you need to stay the course.

I believe that God has blessed me with the gift of bringing people together. I love building community, sharing my latest and greatest finds and helping others. This is the driving force behind stayglutenfree.com.
